Gee, Thanks China

China has just announced that it will be banning certain television shows, movies and other media. Their State Administration of Radio Film and Television feel that such programming is disrespectful to history and immoral. Of course, these American articles seem to think it is all about US programming and not the popularity of China's own dramas. One of them: Gong (or Jade Palace Lock Heart), is one of my current favorites. Do I take the show's accuracy seriously? Of course not. But I had been looking forward to seeing others that are similar. So, thanks China. Nothing like some good ole censorship to make yourself look good.
